Date: Sunday 11 September 2016
Distance: Half marathon (13 miles)
Registration fee: £30
Minimum sponsorship pledge: £350
You’ll get to take in the sights of Newcastle, run across the iconic Tyne Bridge and finish on the coast in South Shields, in what is the world’s second biggest half marathon.
Whether you’re looking to beat a personal best, or just cross the finish line, every stride you make will help fund life-saving research. And we’ll support you every step of the way. You’ll not only get your very own Breast Cancer Now technical running vest, but access to our online Training Zone, the complete support of our experienced Events team and a fundraising pack with everything you’ll need to raise money.
You’ll also get an invitation to join our exclusive running team Facebook group, so you can chat to your fellow runners.
And you won’t be on your own on the day either. We’ll be there to scream, shout and cheer you on during the run and provide cheer sticks for your friends and family too, so they can do the same.
If you already have your own place through the event organisers then we would love to welcome you to our team. Please complete our online form and we’ll send you everything you need to get started with your fundraising.
