Take on the UK’s highest mountain in this fantastic one day challenge.
Ben Nevis stands at an impressive 1,344m high, towering over Fort William and offers some truly stunning views from the summit. If the sun is shining, you can see all the way to the rock spires of the Isle of Skye and Loch Linnhe down to the Irish Sea.
The Ben Nevis Challenge is perfect for a first time trekker, with experienced mountain leaders guiding you the whole way.
We’ll be here to make sure you get all the support you need for your incredible challenge, including:
- Professional event organisation
- Qualified mountain leaders and first aiders
- Briefing, route planning and equipment check
- Two nights twin room accommodation with breakfast (single rooms are available at a supplement)
You’ll also receive a Breast Cancer Now T-shirt, access to our online Training Zone, the complete support of our experienced Challenge Events team and a fundraising pack with everything you’ll need to raise money.
Payment options explained
All participants will pay the registration fee (£99) to Maximum Adventure who organise the event. You then have the option to either agree to a minimum sponsorship pledge (£400) or to self-fund the whole cost of the trip yourself (£275).
If you choose the minimum sponsorship option Breast Cancer Now will pay the remainder of your trip costs from the money that you raise.
80% of the minimum sponsorship pledge (£320) must be raised and received by Breast Cancer Now 10 weeks before your departure date to allow us to pay the invoice for your trip costs. The final 20% (£80) must be received by Breast Cancer Now by one month after you return from the challenge.
Anything you raise above the minimum sponsorship amount comes to Breast Cancer Now. If you choose the self-funder option you will be covering all of the trip costs yourself and we ask you to try and raise at least £100 to support our work.
