Support Breast Cancer Now through your celebration.
Celebrations that bring your friends and family together provide the perfect opportunity to support Breast Cancer Now. From birthdays, to anniversaries and even on your wedding day – asking your loved ones for donations to Breast Cancer Now instead of gifts to mark your special occasion is a generous and thoughtful way to help us fund research into breast cancer.
It would mean the world to us if you were to choose Breast Cancer Now to be a part of your special day. There are a few ways in which you can do so. We would love to speak to you to and talk about the best way to support you. Please contact us on 0207 025 2402 or email email@example.com to learn more about fundraising on your special day.
Every penny you raise will make a real difference to the lives of women affected by breast cancer in the UK.
Ways you can include us on your day
Donations in lieu of gifts
For a gift that really keeps giving, ask your guests to make a donation to Breast Cancer Now on your birthday, wedding day or anniversary event instead of buying a present. To make it simple for your family and friends to donate just set up an online giving page.
These pages also makes claiming Gift Aid on your donation simple and straight forward. Please note that Gift Aid can only be reclaimed on donations made by individuals who pay UK income or capital gains tax at a rate at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year.
If you’re having a party we can supply collection boxes or donation envelopes to have at the event, and cards to include with party invitations. Get in touch to see how we can help.
Giving your guests our special pins as wedding favours is a meaningful way to support people affected by breast cancer, while helping to make your big day extra special. Get in touch if they seem like the right addition to your wedding, or order your wedding favours today.
Other fundraising inspiration
You may even choose to do a fundraising activity as some entertainment for your guests.
- A sweepstake for anything from how long the best man’s speech will be, to who will catch the bouquet.
- A competition to test how well guests know the newlywed couple. Or even a karaoke competition. You could ask each participant to donate £1 to enter and have a prize fund at the end.
