Brancepeth Castle Golf Club raised over £600 by fundraising through competition entry and raffles on their Breast Cancer Day on 12 July 2016.

Elaine, the Lady Captain of Brancepeth Castle Golf Club said:

Our Breast Cancer Day this year was a very happy and enjoyable day. The sun was shining and the weather was warm for all the 33 Brancepeth Ladies who played a Pink Ball competition in teams of 3. Everyone was dressed in pink, with Lady Captain and Handicap Secretary also wearing pink wigs!

We raised the money through competition entry fees, a raffle and donations for the tea, coffee, cakes and scones kindly provided by our caterers, Jackie and Dave.

The winners were presented with a bottle of pink champagne each which had been donated by a member.

Can’t wait until we do it all again next year!
