2016 Pink Ribbon Ball highlights
On Saturday 14 May 2016, we celebrated our second annual Pink Ribbon Ball Manchester - a captivating evening of entertainment and fun, raising much needed funds for vital breast cancer research.
The evening was hosted by local DJ Darren Proctor and featured a special performance by Brit-award winner Lemar, who treated guests to a host of hits, including a version of his brand new single Someday We’ll Be Together, recorded with Joss Stone.
Special guests including Gemma Atkinson, Dean and Magali Gorre, Paul Dickov and Deputy Lord Mayor of Manchester Carl Austin came together for this spectacular event, held at Manchester Cathedral and we are excited to announce we raised £125,000 - topping last year’s fundraising total.
I absolutely loved performing at the Manchester Pink Ribbon Ball; this is a cause very close to my heart so I was delighted to be asked to sing at this special event. It was amazing to see so many people supporting Breast Cancer Now and fundraising for the life-saving research the charity funds.
