We were delighted when our supporter Jason Guy visited our London HQ yesterday (Monday 6 February 2017), alongside professional footballer Matt Hill and his colleague Luke Adamczyk at First4Staff, to present Breast Cancer Now with a cheque for £35,000, raised during 2016 by himself and lots of other supporters who fundraise in memory of Jason’s wife Lucy.

Jason got involved in raising money for breast cancer research back in 2013, after the diagnosis of his girlfriend, Lucy. Lucy was just 31 when she discovered she had triple negative breast cancer. Jason and Lucy got married on 28 February 2015. However, Lucy’s health quickly began to deteriorate, and she sadly passed away in June 2015, aged just 33.

Since May 2013, Jason has raised an incredible £112,034.42 as part of Legacy 4 Lucy.
