Our time is now
Every 45 minutes someone in the UK dies from breast cancer.
We are Breast Cancer Now - the UK's largest breast cancer charity. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
Research holds the key to making that future possible. That’s why we have nearly 450 scientists across the UK and Ireland tackling the disease from every angle
Every day, around 139 people in the UK hear the words ‘it’s breast cancer’ and every month the disease cuts short the lives of nearly 1,000 people.
With every life lost and every person left behind, we’re reminded just how much time matters.
So, as the largest breast cancer charity in the UK, we’re funding 90 cutting edge research projects focusing entirely on this devastating disease. We spend every second relentlessly working towards new ways to prevent it, stop people dying from it and improve the lives of those affected by it.
With this research we can give everyone affected by breast cancer more time. Time to enjoy life. Time to achieve their dreams. Time with the people they love.
