Baroness Delyth Morgan, Chief Executive at Breast Cancer Campaign, said:

The number of people being diagnosed with cancer, including breast cancer, is rising. However, we know that a significant proportion of breast cancers can be prevented through lifestyle changes, meaning we do have the power to slow - or even reverse - this rise.

It is therefore vital that women are aware that they can reduce their risk of breast cancer, and other cancers, by maintaining a healthy weight, getting regular exercise, and reducing their alcohol intake.”
