In November, we blogged about the launch of the long-awaited consultation on the future of the Cancer Drugs Fund in England.
The consultation, run jointly by NHS England and NICE (The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence) proposes changes to the way the CDF works, which will have an impact on people living with breast cancer, particularly those who have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.
We want to hear what you think about the proposed changes. To help you get involved, we've put together our own guide to the consultation, which gives an overview of the changes suggested.
Once you’ve read this, you can take part in the following ways.
- Take our survey – the answers from which may be used as part of our submission. Our survey closes on 20 January 2016.
- Send your thoughts to email@example.com
- Respond directly to the consultation as an individual. To do so, take a look at the full consultation document and complete NHS England’s survey.
We’ll publish our response to the consultation on our website in late February, after the consultation closes, and keep you updated.
