In this episode, we speak to two of our Someone Like Me volunteers. Both of them have had breast cancer, and now give their time to others in similar situations to them.

This is a safe place for people with breast cancer

Charlotte and Anita have both had breast cancer and are familiar with the challenges that come with it. Through Breast Cancer Now’s Someone Like Me service, they speak to other people who have received a diagnosis – either by email or over the phone – and offer them comfort and advice.

Tune in to hear about Charlotte and Anita’s experiences with the service, what sort of conversations they have, and how they could potentially help you if you need it.

I think it’s really useful and helpful for people to know that this isn’t something unusual, this isn’t something different - and to have someone who understands what they’re going through.
