Dare you take on one of the toughest challenges in the world?

At 5,985m, Mt Kilimanjaro is the world’s highest free standing, snow covered Equatorial Mountain. Your challenge is to reach its summit!

Your challenging eight day Kilimanjaro trek will begin in the rainforests of Lemosho Glades, trekking through true wilderness, taking in beautiful ice capped peaks and stunning African night skies littered with stars.

The whole Kilimanjaro expedition has been carefully planned to ensure that you have plenty of time to acclimatise to the altitude and to maximise your chance of making the summit. The operations team we work with has one of the highest success rates of trekkers reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro.

The final night before the summit climb is the toughest but most rewarding section.

Trekking through the night up the scree slopes to Stella Point. You aim to reach this point by dawn and continue around the Rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point you reach. This heroic challenge is not for the faint hearted, but the experiences, scenery and relationships you form will make it all worth it.

Check out the full itinerary on the tour operator’s website.

You’ll not only get your very own Breast Cancer Now technical T-shirt but also access to our exclusive online Training Zone, plus the excellent support of our experienced Challenge Events team, as well as a fundraising pack with everything you’ll need to raise money.
