If your boots are made for walking, then the National Three Peaks Challenge is for you. You’ll travel to Fort William in Scotland on Friday, beginning the trek by climbing Ben Nevis on Saturday morning. You’ll then head to the Lake District to scale Scafell Pike that night, before finishing in Wales on Sunday by conquering Snowdon.
This event is perfect for both individuals and groups. With up to 13 hours of climbing (Ben Nevis – five hours, Scafell Pike – four hours and Snowdon – four hours) this is a tough challenge, but one that comes with breath-taking views – and the chance to help put an end to breast cancer. (Please note: This time does not include road transfer to each mountain, so the total time of the challenge takes longer than 13 hours.)
