We are the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. Our ambition is that by 2050, everyone who gets breast cancer will live.
Breast Cancer Now’s research is world-leading, thanks to our expertise at the Research Centre and through the scientists we fund across the UK and collaborate with globally, combined with research programmes such as the Generations Study and the Tissue Bank.
We provide the best health information about breast cancer risk, breast awareness, diagnosis, treatment and services to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to make decisions about their health and health care.
We are a strong force for change, leading campaigns that make the voices of patients and their families heard, helping shape government policy and working with the NHS to improve services to make sure patients receive the best possible treatment, care and support.
We are committed to funding the brightest researchers up and down the country doing the very best in breast cancer research. We’re an open source of knowledge and experience, pushing ourselves to fill every gap in our understanding.
Breast Cancer Now funded scientists are focused on making significant advances in four strategic areas: risk and prevention, early detection and diagnosis, treatments and secondary breast cancer.
