About the meet-ups
A diagnosis of secondary breast cancer can mean adjusting to difficult changes in your life. Our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer groups have been designed to give you the chance to meet and share experiences with other people living with a secondary diagnosis and get the information and support you need. All sessions are facilitated by a counsellor and every other month you’ll hear from a guest speaker who is an expert in their field, for example, a Clinical Nurse Specialist or a Benefits Adviser. Questions and discussions are welcome and you can also find out about support available locally.
The Brighton Living with Secondary Breast Cancer group usually meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
If you would like to register to attend the group in the future, and receive monthly email notifications about the meet-ups, please click the register button above.
Our face to face group services are currently suspended due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We will update this web page once we are able to safely resume the meetings in line with government guidance.
If you have been diagnosed with secondary breast cancer and would like to get more information and support, you might be interested in accessing our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer online services. We are running regular virtual group meetings using Zoom where you can talk to others who understand, alongside our online programme where you can access informational videos from our expert speakers. You can register to join our virtual meetings and online programme by completing our online registration form.
The Helpline, Ask Our Nurses, Living with Secondary Breast Cancer Live Chat and online Forum support services are all still running as usual.
