Today we want to say a massive thank you to you for making our work possible. Your support is fuelling the research that will mean, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
We’re so grateful for everything you do for Breast Cancer Now – so we’ve made you a little video to show you the difference you’re making.
Because of you, over the past year we’ve achieved incredible things for women facing breast cancer…
…in our labs
You've helped to fund over 600,000 hours of research in the last 12 months. Researchers funded by you have made some really important breakthroughs, including a new genetic test that will identify patients at high risk of their breast cancer returning.
42,000 fantastic campaigners helped make sure the life-extending drug Kadcyla remained on the Cancer Drugs Fund last November, and our amazing Patient Advocates have improved the treatment and care of breast cancer patients at 13 hospitals in England.
Nearly 200 MPs and 18 Assembly Members in Wales agreed to become Breast Cancer Ambassadors – and the Scottish government committed to helping us achieve our aim that, by 2050, no one who develops breast cancer will die from it.
Thanks to you, we’re one year closer 2050: the day when everyone who develops breast cancer lives. Find out more about current work and the research we're funding.
From absolutely everyone at Breast Cancer Now, thank you.
