To round off an amazing launch week, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer enjoyed a stylish launch party hosted by one of the campaign’s ambassadors, Deanne Oliver-Evans.
The party took place at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel with fellow Fashion Targets Breast Cancer ambassadors Antonia O’Brien, Rosie Fortescue, Eunice Olumide and Brix Smith-Start also making an appearance. Breakthrough’s ambassador Donna Fraser also came along to help celebrate the campaign that has already raised more than £13 million for the charity’s vital work.
Additional star guests also included Suki Waterhouse (wearing this year’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Superga shoes), Millie Mackintosh, Eliza Doolittle, Laura Jackson and Olivia Cox, to name a few.
Guests enjoyed live music, beauty make-overs and a super-stylish raffle that helped to raise even more money for the charity. Also on display was this year’s chic collection from Fashion Targets Breast Cancer’s generous retail partners.
M&S, River Island, Warehouse, Topshop, Laura Ashley, Debenhams and Superga have produced beautiful, unique pieces for the collection. From flirty summer dresses to show-stopping swimwear, and with prices ranging from just £2 to £85, there’s something for everyone. Best of all, each pieces carry a minimum 30% donation to Breakthrough’s work.
This year the campaign is fronted by Emeli Sandé, Laura Bailey and Jessica Ennis-Hill, who lead the 2014 call-to-arms, urging the nation to ‘Wear Your Support’ for the cause and buy something from this year’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer collection.
International fashion designer Ralph Lauren set up Fashion Targets Breast Cancer in 1994 after losing a close friend to the disease. He was inspired to use fashion to help breast cancer charities across the globe.
