Join Amy Shergold, senior research communications officer at Breast Cancer Now, to learn more about breast cancer research. She'll discuss how treatments are developed, the latest discoveries, and the future of breast cancer research.
Amy will also explain the process of long-term and short-term research programmes, and how current programmes hope to make a difference. You can ask questions throughout the session using the Q&A function, which Amy will answer.
About Amy Shergold
Amy is the senior research communications officer at Breast Cancer Now. Her job is to translate complex science behind breast cancer research to the public. Before this, Amy spent just under 10 years at the University of Glasgow and the CRUK Scotland Institute (formerly The Beatson) training as a cancer and immunology researcher.
