How to create your own code

If your JustGiving page starts with www.justgiving.com/fundraising, go to your page and add '/qrcode/' to the end of the URL. You’ll find the URL in the address bar of your web browser. Click ‘enter’ and your page's unique QR code will appear.

If your JustGiving page starts with www.justgiving.com/page, follow these 5 steps instead:

  1. Log in to your JustGiving account
  2. Click on the drop-down menu next to your name (top right corner) and select ‘fundraising’
  3. You should now see any JustGiving pages that you currently have active. Find your Afternoon Tea page and click on ‘edit’
  4. Select the 'Share' tab on the left of your screen
  5. You’ll see a row of symbols underneath your shareable link. Click on the QR symbol, which is the symbol furthest to the right

If you need more help, read the JustGiving guidance on how to download your code.

Display your QR code at your tea! Your guests can then scan the code using their phone camera to make an online donation, making it even easier for your guests to donate!

Create a poster

On JustGiving, you can create your own QR code poster in a few clicks.

Just go to your fundraising page, underneath your story, you’ll see a variety of buttons. Click print to create your own poster and have the option to download it or print it.

Top tips for JustGiving success

Personalising your page is simple and can make a huge difference to your fundraising.

  • Add your story. Tell people what motivated you to take part in Afternoon Tea and support Breast Cancer Now
  • Add a target. Pages with a fundraising target raise more money overall. Aim high and tell the world!
  • Upload a picture of yourself. It makes the page look more personal to you

Share your page ahead of your tea by including it on your invitations or sharing it on social media, it will:

  • Create a buzz
  • Kick start your fundraising before the big day
  • Give people who can’t come the opportunity to support you

A quick note about tips

When guests donate, JustGiving asks for an optional tip. There’s absolutely no pressure to leave one. If a tip is left by mistake, you can request a refund directly from JustGiving. But please note, Breast Cancer Now is unable to process this refund.

Information on how to request a tip refund can be found on JustGiving’s website here.
