Want to raise awareness at your Afternoon Tea?

Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. And unfortunately, these numbers are set to rise. We want fewer people to be diagnosed with breast cancer. And for the ones that do, we want them to have the very best chance of survival thanks to an early diagnosis.

Your fundraising is an incredible opportunity to spread the word about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and encourage your guests to get checking.

3 ways to share Touch Look Check information at your tea:

  1. Order our breast awareness guides to give to your guests
  2. Download the A3 awareness infographic poster to display at your event
  3. Show the Touch Look Check video at your tea and share the link

As well as fundraising, I find that Afternoon Tea is a great platform to raise awareness of breast health and breast checking, which is really important to me. You can order health information to display at your event on the extra orders page.

Book a public health talk

Our public health talks share information on early detection and prevention of breast cancer, and they're completely free to book. Learn more and request a talk.

Please note, talks aren’t guaranteed. We normally need a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice and an audience size with a minimum of 30 people. If you have any questions, please email the team at phvolunteer@breastcancernow.org

This is a topic close to my heart as my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2024. I will be spreading the word about being breast aware now I have more knowledge from attending the session. Our speaker was informative and very easy to listen to.
