About you

About your organisation

Please note, due to the content covered in the presentation, our talks are not suitable for people under 18. If you would like further information on this, please contact phvolunteer@breastcancernow.org.

Our talks cover information and messaging on breast cancer awareness and, NHS breast screening services based on UK data and public health messaging. This may differ to information in other countries and could cause unnecessary confusion to attendees. Please let us know if you plan to invite anyone outside the UK to this talk by emailing mailto:phvolunteer@breastcancernow.org. We will do our best to tailor the talks for non-UK audiences where we can.

About your talk

Please can you provide brief details about the event

In-person talks

Please provide the address of the talk location

We will take each in person talk request on a case-by-case basis, depending on location and volunteer availability. Whilst we understand that COVID-19 measures are no longer a legal requirement, we ask groups and organisations who request an in person public health talk to have measures in place that can help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We allow recordings of our public health talks where the intention is to share them internally only, for example to the hosting organisation’s staff or members.

Please obtain permission to record talks in advance, from the volunteer presenter and all attendees. You will need to obtain permission at least two days before the talk. Please note our policy does not allow any recordings to be shared externally to anyone outside your organisation, on websites or on social media channels. To minimise the risk of out-of-date content relating to our talks being available on external sites, please delete any recordings from all platforms within 3 months of the talk.

Online talks

Please let us know the name of the person who will communicate with our volunteer, send out the event invite to all attendees, and act as the host on the day.
