Breast Cancer Now deliver online breast cancer public health talks to workplaces and community groups across the UK.
A Public Health talk covers important information about breast cancer, including:
- Breast cancer facts and figures
- Breast awareness and the importance of early detection
- NHS breast screening programme
- Signs and symptoms of breast cancer
- Causes of breast cancer and how you can help reduce your risk
- Myths and misconceptions
Our talks usually last between 30-40 minutes and we would encourage including time for questions afterwards.
We have a team of trained Public Health volunteers and staff who deliver our online public health talks.
Our talks are currently being delivered virtually and we would ask that there is a minimum of 25 people attending.
Our public health talks are aimed at adults over the age of 18.
If you have any questions about our talks, or would like further information before making a booking, please email our Public Health and Wellbeing Team.
To request a public health talk please fill in the form below.
Please note the majority of talks are delivered by volunteers who give up their time on a voluntary basis. We normally require at least 3 weeks notice to co-ordinate requests. We will do our best to accommodate bookings but may not be able to fulfil requests at short notice.
