Take part in a research study to help researchers understand the experience of caregivers of people with cancer during healthcare appointments, and their interactions with healthcare staff.
A Delphi Study To Understand Caregivers Experience Of Cancer Healthcare Appointments.
Friends and family play an important role when someone is diagnosed with cancer. They can help the person diagnosed get the information they need, attend appointments and give them important emotional support. They can also give the medical team more information about the person diagnosed, which helps them plan treatment.
In this study, researchers want to understand the experiences of caregivers of people living with cancer during their healthcare appointments. They want to understand more about their interactions with healthcare professionals, and whether they feel valued and included in the appointments.

This study is split into 3 rounds.
Round 1 includes an online questionnaire which will ask about your experience in healthcare appointments. This should take around 20-30 minutes.
You can choose to continue to take part in the study, you’ll sent 2 more short surveys at a later date. These surveys will ask you to read some statements and rate whether you agree or disagree. They should take around 5 minutes to do.
By taking part in round 1 you do not need to take part in rounds 2 or 3. For each round that you participate in you will have the option to be entered into a prize draw to win one of 3 £10 vouchers.
If you’re interested in taking part, please complete the first questionnaire. The participant information sheet and consent form are at the beginning of the survey.
