Emotions and Well-Being: Understanding the Association Between Expressed Emotions and Cancer Survivors’ Wellbeing
Having a good support network is very important for people who have breast cancer. Family is often an important support network, but it can also be complicated.
This study is exploring how the emotional involvement of caregivers, particularly family members, affects the wellbeing and quality of life of people who have completed treatment for primary breast cancer.
The students want to understand the how support or over-involvement from loves ones can shape the experience of people living beyond primary breast cancer. The students hope that this study will help improve emotional support for people adjusting to life after treatment.
