FAQs
-
How much sponsorship do I need to raise?
Each participant is encouraged to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship (in addition to the £35 entry fee).
We ask for a minimum sponsorship of £250 because we believe it reflects the scale and difficulty of the challenge. And so that we can continue to fund our vital research and support. There's no penalty for not reaching the minimum fundraising target, but we do encourage everyone to achieve this goal. We'll give you fundraising ideas and materials to help make this as easy as possible.
The £35 registration fee does not meet the entire cost of the challenge, so setting a minimum sponsorship target also makes sure that we can cover the cost of each place in the event.
