Apply to join our photoshoot on 6 May to create new marketing materials for Younger Women with Secondaries Together, which we can use to promote our free, life-changing support.

What’s the project about?

Our support marketing campaign centres around ‘whatever breast cancer brings’, capturing the authentic and sometimes difficult moments and emotions that bring people to our support services.

The people in our marketing campaigns have had a personal experience of breast cancer, and have used our support.

We are organising a photoshoot on Wednesday 6 May focussing on our Younger Women with Secondaries Together service. This photoshoot will capture more content which we can across our marketing materials (hospital posters, pharmacy screens, social media ads) to promote Younger Women with Secondaries Together.

Who’s organising it?

Name of project lead: Ellen Sadler

Job title: Health info and support, marketing officer

Organisation: Breast Cancer Now

Email address: ellen.sadler@breastcancernow.org

Who can take part?

You can take part if you

  • Have used our Younger Women with Secondaries Together service and
  • Are aged 45 or under
  • Live within travelling distance to London

Why do you want me to be involved?

You will help us to raise greater awareness of our free support services for anyone affected by breast cancer, however they need it. By doing this, we can reach the people who need our support the most - helping them feel less alone, connect with others going through similar experiences and access trusted information when they need it.

What will you ask me to do?

We would be asking you to attend a one day photoshoot in London on Wednesday 6 May to capture both photo and video content. This could involve simple portrait images, photos depicting harder feelings or moments, and photos and videos of the service itself.

The shoot is being organised over one day, however you will not be expected to attend for the full day - we will provide you with a 2-3 hour slot to capture your content.

We would be able to cover travel expenses for the day too. More detail to be confirmed once we secure our shoot location.

How do I get involved?

If you would like to get involved, we would ask you to complete a Tell us your story form. The case study team will then be in touch with more details.

If you have any questions, or would like more information before taking part, please email Ellen at ellen.sadler@breastcancernow.org.

When’s the deadline?

10 April 2026
