Share your experiences of support for breast reconstruction

What’s the project about?

Keeping Abreast is a charity which offers information and support for people thinking about, or having breast reconstruction. This includes peer-led support groups, telephone and in-person support, non-medical advice and health information.

They’re currently reviewing the information and support they offer, and they want to hear about what is most helpful for you.

Who can take part?

You can take part if you, or a friend or family member, has had or is going to have breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. 

Why do you want me to be involved? 

By sharing your views, you’ll help Keeping Abreast improve the information and support they offer. This will help them ensure that people on the reconstruction pathway have access to the care, advice, and community they need.

What will you ask me to do?

You’ll be asked to fill in an anonymous online survey, which should take no more than 15 minutes. It will ask you about your experiences of existing breast reconstruction support and where you feel the gaps are.

There’ll be an option to enter a prize draw for a £25 Amazon gift voucher if you leave your name and email. 

You’ll also be able to sign up for an optional in-person focus group in Norfolk on 2 March, or an online focus group during the week commencing 9 March to share more on this topic.
