Join us for our brand-new nursing conference, the first in a new series of events for healthcare professionals.  

This one-day event is an opportunity for you to hear about some of the most exciting clinical developments in both primary and secondary breast cancer. It’s also our chance to show our support to you and to thank you – our nursing members. 

You’ll hear from expert speakers on topics such as triple negative breast cancer and invasive lobular cancer. And the breakout sessions will allow you to hear about best practice and network with your peers from across the UK.

    Primary and secondary breast care nurses and other nurses working with breast cancer patients, who are members of Breast Cancer Now’s healthcare professionals hub.

  • Why is the conference only for breast care nurses?

    This brand-new nursing conference will be the first to be held as part of our new healthcare professionals hub. More webinars, events and conferences for other healthcare professionals are to be organised in the future.

  • Why is there a registration fee?

    Due to our generous sponsors, the cost of your registration has been subsidised. However, the registration fee allows us to cover the remaining expenses and ensures you’ll have a wonderful conference experience.

    You can pay via invoice or card payment.  

  • What if I'm not based in London?

    We know it will be more of a journey for you and we really hope you can make it. The following FAQs have a bit more information that may help you with planning.

  • What time do you need to be there?

    The conference will run from 10am to 4pm. Breakfast starts at 9am so you can arrive earlier, before the sessions begin. If you have a long journey, please don’t worry if you need to arrive later or leave early.  

  • What’s the nearest train station to the venue?

    The nearest underground stations are: 

    1. Euston (Northern and Victoria lines) – distance to BMA House is 0.3 miles. This station does not have step-free access.
    2. Russell Square (Piccadilly line) – distance to BMA House is 0.3 miles. This station does not have step-free access.
    3. Euston Square (Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines) – distance to BMA house is 0.4 miles. This station has step-free access and provides lift access between the street and the platform, westbound only.
    4. King’s Cross St Pancras (Circle, Hammersmith and City, Northern, Metropolitan and Victoria lines) – distance to BMA House is 0.5 miles. This station has step-free access and provides lift access between the street and the platforms.

    Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the conference, and refreshments will be available throughout the day.  

  • What can I expect from the conference?

    The conference is an opportunity for us to show our appreciation and support to you – our nursing members. And for you to connect and network with your colleagues.  

    The programme will be split into 2. The first half will feature keynote speakers covering topics from triple negative breast cancer to invasive lobular cancer. The second half will consist of themed breakout rooms, allowing for deeper discussion and learning from other colleagues.
