What you can expect
Marcia will talk about the benefits of yoga practice following hospital based treatment for primary breast cancer and how it can support recovery, along with supporting physical and emotional wellbeing. She will also provide examples of yoga practices/poses that can support in managing late effects.

About Marcia Mercier
Marcia is an experienced yoga teacher, certified with Yoga Alliance, and specialising in teaching yoga to those affected by cancer. In 1998, she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32 and found it difficult to move forwards after her treatment.
It was at this time that she took her first-ever yoga class and found it helped her to rebalance both physically and mentally. Marcia now offers online and in-person yoga for breast cancer classes from her home studio in north London as well as at Future Dreams House.
