Understanding your legal rights with secondary breast cancer
What is Speakers Live?
Speakers Live is our webinar series for people with primary and metastatic breast cancer. Each webinar covers a specific topic that impacts the daily lives of people living with breast cancer. The webinars are presented by industry experts, so you can feel confident you're getting information you can trust.
What is this webinar about?
In this session, we are joined by Colette Hawkins who will be sharing her expertise on your legal rights as a person living with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. A variety of themes will be covered, looking into both social welfare legal needs, as well as health and care decision making.
Colette is joining us as the Clinical Lead at Routes to Rights, a project that helps adults affected by long-term or serious health conditions. That includes the person who is unwell and those who care for them.
They work to help everyone understand their legal rights when they are ill or looking after someone else who is ill, help professionals recognise these rights and work better together across services, and make it easier for people to get the right advice and support when they need it.
When can I watch the webinar?
29 September 2026 from 2pm to 3:30pm.
