What is Speakers Live?

Speakers Live is our webinar series for people with primary and metastatic breast cancer. Each webinar covers a specific topic that impacts the daily lives of people living with breast cancer. The webinars are presented by industry experts, so you can feel confident you're getting information you can trust.

What is this webinar about?

This session is designed to give you a greater understanding of how to successfully manage work whilst living with secondary breast cancer. It also aims to build your confidence in communicating your ongoing needs. The topics covered will include: - Managing the challenges of work and secondary breast cancer

• Managing your own and employer expectations
• Talking to your employer and communicating your ongoing needs
• Knowing your legal rights under the Equality Act 2010 and requesting ongoing reasonable adjustments
• Changing jobs or ending your employment
• Resources and support available

There will also be the opportunity to ask questions. The session will be delivered by Veronica Foote, Head of Policy & Consulting at Working With Cancer.
