The Show by Breast Cancer Now is a fashion show like no other. It’s more than clothes. More than style. It’s about change – and making change happen for people affected by breast cancer.

The Show is Breast Cancer Now’s annual fashion show, featuring 24 fabulous models all of whom are living with or beyond breast cancer. We receive over 300 applications every year to take part in this unique opportunity and encourage anyone with lived experience of breast cancer to apply.

The Show experience starts in September, when the selected 24 models get a phone call from the High Value Events team with the exciting news! Following this, we are with you every step of the way – from the photoshoot in November, to the fitting days in April, and The Show day itself.

If you would like any more information about The Show, or want to ask any questions before applying, please do reach out to us at specialevents@breastcancernow.org.

About the clothing

We work with the fabulous stylist Rebekah Roy to curate all the looks for The Show, based on clothing that is donated to us by a selection of high street brands.

To manage expectations, we want to be clear that this is not a personal shopping experience. All the amazing runway looks are part of different themes based on fashion trends at the time. Some clothing may be out of your comfort zone, but our amazing styling team will always choose clothing that makes you look fabulous.

Fundraising

Every year, we encourage our models to fundraise for Breast Cancer Now in the lead up to taking the runway at The Show. Models are guided to create JustGiving pages around March, where they can share Show related content and encourage their loved ones to support them.

Supporting us beyond The Show

Whilst we would love everyone to be able to be involved in The Show, we can only choose a small number of models to participate. But the personal stories and experiences that you share with us can help us raise awareness of breast cancer, our life-saving research and the issues affecting patients.

Would you be happy for us to contact you if an opportunity came up to share your story? * For example, we might share your story on our website, social media channels, or in our fundraising materials.
Equal opportunities monitoring

Would you mind answering a few questions to help us understand the range of people applying to take part in the show? We will use this information to ensure that the chosen model group represents the diverse population of people who are diagnosed with breast cancer. If you do not want to disclose, please choose ‘prefer not to say’.

I consent to Breast Cancer Now processing the equality and diversity monitoring information I give for the above purpose. *
