Tips for hosting a dress down day

• Get permission: Wherever you decide to dress down, make sure you ask whoever’s in charge for permission. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not give your day a theme? You can ask everyone to come in pink, in pyjamas or even fancy dress
• Pick a date: Pick a date where lots of people will be around to make the most of your fundraising, then spread the word. Send round an email, post on your company’s intranet or talk about it in a meeting. Or if you’re fundraising at school, why not do a shout out in assembly? Make sure you send a reminder a couple of days before too
• Set up a JustGiving page: A JustGiving page is quick to set up, easy to use and the money will come straight to us so you won’t have to worry about paying in. You could display a QR code on poster on the day to make it even easier to contribute. Looking to collect cash donations? • Add a bit extra: On top of receiving your free fundraising pack when you sign up, you can get in touch with us for some extra decorations such as balloons, banners and posters.
