Online Public Health Volunteer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Public Health and Wellbeing team to help us raise awareness of breast cancer.

As a Public Health volunteer, you will deliver online Public Health talks on behalf of Breast Cancer Now to raise awareness of our key prevention and early detection messages, championing our work in local communities and workplaces across the UK.

Public health talks cover important information about breast cancer, including: key facts and figures; breast awareness and the importance of early detection; signs and symptoms; what to do if you find a new or unusual change, what you can do to help reduce your risk and the myths and misconceptions associated with developing the disease.

For more information about the role and how to apply, please follow this link.

We occasionally have opportunities to volunteer in one of our offices located in London, Sheffield, Cardiff & Glasgow.

From our offices in London, Sheffield, Glasgow and Cardiff, our teams raise awareness, provide services and offer fundraising support to people in local communities. We sometimes need extra support to help things run smoothly. Whether you’re interested in helping out with office admin or helping with organising events, it’s a great way to develop your skills (and gain new ones!) build up valuable work experience and make a lasting difference.

To register your interest, please contact the volunteer.hub@breastcancernow.org who will send you a volunteer application pack or call 0114 263 6489 for more information.
