Choose from our 4 event dates and locations:

  • Hampton Court Palace and the Thames Path - Saturday 18 April
  • Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds - Saturday 9 May
  • Chatsworth House and the Peak District - Sunday 17 May
  • Pink Ribbon Walk Edinburgh at Holyrood Park - Saturday 20 June

What skills do I need?

Our volunteer roles are open to everyone. You don’t need any experience, just a good team spirit and plenty of enthusiasm.

What will I be doing on the day?

There are two main volunteer roles at the Pink Ribbon Walks (see below) as well as an office role. If you have a preferred role, you can select this during registration and we will do our best to assign you to this role.

You’ll be guaranteed a fun day out, as you help hundreds of people, all walking for Breast Cancer Now.

You’ll get an on-the-day briefing and support every step of the way. You’ll even get a free hot meal and breakfast if you've an early start. We'll welcome you into our supportive community of people affected by breast cancer.

What's the time commitment?

This is a one-off volunteering role that happens once a year.

What are the volunteer roles?

Event village volunteer

Route marshal volunteer

Marshalling, making sure walkers know the way, handing out snacks and water at rest stops.

Office volunteer

You'll be supporting the team with general office admin and assisting walkers over email and phone.

Everyone we came across during the day was very friendly. The staff were all welcoming, and the people taking part really enthusiastic. Some of the people taking part even thanked us as we were out on the course as marshals - how kind is that!
