About wear it pink
On 24 October, wear pink, raise money, and help make life-changing breast cancer research and vital support happen.
About wear it pink
Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
Together, we’ve been wearing it pink for over 20 years.
You’ve brought shades of pink to dress-up days, bake sales, netball tournaments, wild swims, knitting sessions and even bra displays! You’ve had a whole lot of fun and raised over £43 million in the process.
It’s an amazing achievement, but we can’t stop there. Because we know that breast cancer isn’t yesterday’s problem. Over 55,000 people are diagnosed every year in the UK and each year, around 11,500 women and 90 men die from breast cancer.
We have a bold vision. That by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live, and
be supported to live well. But this won’t happen overnight. To make this vision a reality, we
need to act now.
How can I get involved in wear it pink?
Sign up to wear it pink and we’ll send you a fundraising pack filled with games, posters and bunting, as well as plenty of useful tips and ideas. However you wear it pink, you’ll be helping people affected by breast cancer get the support they need when they need it most.
