About wear it pink

On 24 October, wear pink, raise money, and help make life-changing breast cancer research and vital support happen.

What is wear it pink?

Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

Together, we’ve been wearing it pink for over 20 years.

You’ve brought shades of pink to dress-up days, bake sales, netball tournaments, wild swims, knitting sessions and even bra displays! You’ve had a whole lot of fun and raised over £43 million in the process.

It’s an amazing achievement, but we can’t stop there. Because we know that breast cancer isn’t yesterday’s problem. Over 55,000 people are diagnosed every year in the UK and each year, around 11,500 women and 90 men die from breast cancer.

How can I get involved in wear it pink?

Sign up to wear it pink and we’ll send you a fundraising pack filled with games, decorations and plenty of useful tips and ideas. You’ll be helping people affected by breast cancer get the support they need when they need it most.

We wanted to help families like ours and help raise funds for ground-breaking research. So, our wear it pink charity night was born! We need to make people aware of Breast Cancer Now and what they do to help people with a breast cancer diagnosis. We’re truly proud to be part of wear it pink and what it stands for.
