Your messages to our researchers

We’ve created this special place to share your messages of thanks and support to our amazing researchers this Christmas.

Thank you for giving us all hope!

Thank you for all you do for people facing breast cancer. I have stage 4 invasive lobular breast cancer to bones, and hope that one day, for the people who follow me, there will be a treatment for everyone.

Thanks a million to all of you wonderful people who work tirelessly to make life better for cancer sufferers and to bring hope for the future to so many. My very best friend is well now, having lost a breast she has regained her life. My gratitude for the help she received knows no bounds. I wish every one of you rest and relaxation over the festive season, with good wishes for continued success in 2026. From a Grateful Gran

My mum sadly died of ovarian cancer in 1984, prior to the BRCA1 gene being discovered - she had survived breast cancer twice. I also had breast cancer in my early thirties but due to the discovery of the BRCA1 gene, I had my ovaries removed at the age of 43. Unfortunately I developed breast cancer in the other breast at the age of 58 and it was identified as triple cancer breast cancer which was not discovered when I had my first breast cancer. Thank you for the continued research that is being undertaken and that has and will continue to have, a positive impact on the many people diagnosed with this disease. Thank you!

I have had stage 4 metastatic breast cancer for over 4 years. I am grateful every day for the life I have. I owe that life to those who have researched the clever drugs which are allowing me to live a full and happy life, and to my wonderful oncologist for choosing my treatments, changing them as necessary and for her amazing support throughout. I am blessed. Thank you x

I am so grateful that people like yourselves work so hard to help find better treatments for those of us who have had breast cancer and continue to be treated and those unfortunately, yet to be diagnosed. It is amazing, how so much has been achieved over the last few years through your dedication and it gives much hope to myself and everyone affected by this awful disease for a future where breast cancer will be no more. Thank you so much.

Too many lives lost too young. We must find a cure for this brutal cancer soon. Thank you

Thank You. Your work is vital I have had several members of my family with this hateful cancer (some I have lost, others have survived) we need your services to have a much higher survival rate. Good Luck & Merry Xmas to you all.

Thank You so much for the work that you do X

I think Breast Cancer Research and Treatments have come along way over the years. I had Breast Cancer in 1997 and the Treatment was hard! I lost all my hair and was quite sick. I also had Radiotherapy which I found easier, but to survive and still be here today you definitely need the treatment. The Treatment today is slightly different as you can now have Chemotherapy Tablets as well as intravenous injections 💉 but the Research has come along way and keeping more people alive. Keep up the Excellent work.

God bless you all.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication which brings hope to many many people like me scared going through treatment for breast cancer. It's good to know we have you fighting for us. Have a wonderful christmas love Helen swansea xx

So happy to help you with a donation to help in the fight against Cancer Love, Barbara

I was blessed with an early diagnosis, via a routine mammogram, of bilateral breast cancer (in both breasts) 3 years ago. I’m good now and try to let everyone know to have their routine checks. They save, prolong and improve life chances.
