Kiltwalk free registration promo code - terms and conditions

Participation

• I will inform the Breast Cancer Now Challenge Events Team immediately if I am unable to take part in the event (and, where permitted, take all necessary steps to transfer my place to another person who wishes to take part in support of Breast Cancer Now).
• I understand that this event is organised by the event organiser who is solely responsible for the conduct and operation of the event, including all health and safety requirements. Please see the event organiser’s terms and conditions or contact the event organiser directly for more information about the event and the potential risks involved.
• Breast Cancer Now is not responsible for the event and accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to my participation in it.
• I confirm that I or the person I am signing on the behalf of (in the case of a minor) will be:
  • at least 13 years old on the date of the event for the Mighty Stride events
  • at least 10 years old on the date of the event for the Big Stroll events
  • at least 5 years old on the date of the event for the Wee Wander events.

• I acknowledge that participants under 16 years of age at the date of the event must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the event. This means that the parent or guardian must also register through the Kiltwalk organisers for a place on the same event, day and time slot.

Requirements and instructions on how to receive a promo code for free registration

• This promotion is run by Breast Cancer Now, a company limited by guarantee registered in England (9347608) and a charity registered in England and Wales (1160558), Scotland (SC045584) and the Isle of Man (1200). • The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom.
• I acknowledge that each promo code can only be applied to 1 adult registration. Up to 4 children can be added to an adult Wee Wander promo code request.
• I acknowledge that the promotion periods for the events are as follows:
  • Promotion for free 2026 Glasgow Kiltwalk (Saturday or Sunday) registration promo codes will run from 01 January 2026, 12.01amGMT to 10 April 2026, 11.59pm GMT or until places or event sells out. Any requests made outside of this time will not be accepted.
  • Promotion for free 2026 Aberdeen Kiltwalk registration promo codes will run from 01 January 2026 12.01GMT to 22 May 2026, 11.59pm GMT or until places or event sells out. Any requests made outside of this time will not be accepted.
  • Promotion for free 2026 Dundee Kiltwalk registration promo codes will run from 01 January 2026, 12.01am GMT until 31 July 2026, 11.59pm GMT or until places or event sells out. Any requests made outside of this time will not be accepted.
  • Promotion for free 2026 Edinburgh Kiltwalk registration promo codes will run from 01 January 2026, 12.01am GMT to 28 August 2026, 11.59pm GMT or until places or event sells out. Any requests made outside of this time will not be accepted.
• To receive a promo code for free registration in my selected Kiltwalk, I have agreed to fundraise a minimum of £75 for my place.
• For each requested promo code, including requests for single or multiple children promo codes, I agree to fundraise a minimum of £75 for each code requested.
• In order to obtain a promo code, I acknowledge that I must follow the following process:
  • Upon filling out and submitting a promo code request form (Request a promo code for free registration), a link to set up a JustGiving page online will appear on the next page. In addition, a confirmation email will also be sent with the same JustGiving page set up link.
  • To receive my promo code over email, I must click on the JustGiving page link after submitting my request or find the link in the confirmation email.
  • Once I have completed setting up a JustGiving page, Breast Cancer Now will be notified.
  • I will anticipate receiving a promo code from events@breastcancernow.org in 5 business days.
• I acknowledge that I need to redeem the promo code within two weeks (14 days) of receiving the confirmation email. Any promo code or codes left unredeemed after the two-week window will return back to Breast Cancer Now.
• I acknowledge that if places for my requested event are no longer available through the Kiltwalk organisers, I will be unable to redeem the code and therefore not be able to participate in the event, even if I have requested a promo code and set up a JustGiving page.
• There is no cash or other alternative to this promotion.
• I acknowledge that the number of promo codes is limited and in line with the capacity for the events (for example, the overall number of promo codes available from Kiltwalk for the Glasgow Kiltwalk is 14,000) and I accept that I may not receive a promo code if all of the available promo codes have already been allocated.
• By entering this promotion, I am agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Breast Cancer Now’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
• Breast Cancer Now accepts no responsibility for promo code requests that are not received for whatever reason and reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of our control. Breast Cancer Now will notify participants of any significant changes to the promotion as soon as possible.

Donations and payment terms

• I will send all outstanding sponsorship money to Breast Cancer Now within 4 weeks after the event finishing.
• I will endeavour to raise as much as possible for Breast Cancer Now and will regularly pay all money collected to Breast Cancer Now by:
  1. Using my JustGiving fundraising page
  2. Paying online with my debit or credit card
  3. Using the money return form provided to send cheques made payable to "Breast Cancer Now" to Breast Cancer Now, 6th Floor, The White Chapel Building, 10 Whitechapel High Street, London, England, E1 8QS
  4. Calling the Supporter Engagement Team on 0333 20 70 300 to pay over the phone with my credit or debit card details

Fundraising activities

• I will comply with any fundraising guidance or advice issued by Breast Cancer Now
• I will use Breast Cancer Now’s fundraising materials to fundraise for this event and will return any unused materials on completion of the event
• I will only use lawful means to fundraise and will not do anything that is likely to harm Breast Cancer Now’s reputation
• I agree that my sponsorship forms and online fundraising pages will make it clear that the money is not given subject to any conditions and that the monies will not be returned if the event is cancelled, or I do not complete the event
• I agree to inform sponsors that their donations are not conditional upon my taking part or completing the event
• I will abide by the Code of Fundraising Practice issued by the Fundraising Regulator

Personal data and images

• I give permission for the free use of my first name, picture, image, feedback and comments in any future publicity, advertising, fundraising materials and/or promotion conducted by Breast Cancer Now
• I give permission for my personal information to be processed by Breast Cancer Now in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the event and passed on to the event organisers as required and in accordance with the preferences stated on my registration form

Declaration

• I confirm that I hereby accept these terms and conditions.
• For participants under the age of 16, I agree for you to contact and obtain consent from a parent or guardian to confirm their approval of my participation in the event and their acceptance of the terms and conditions on my behalf. I shall provide contact details for my parent or guardian for this purpose.
