"When Patricia, my wife of 42 years, was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in September 2021 we had to confront the reality that this was incurable. We decided that in the time she had remaining that we would do our part in addressing the poor education of women and clinicians and the crying need for research into this disease that is so far from way from being understood.

We immediately teamed up with Breast Cancer Now and are so delighted we did. From the very beginning, the team took the time to understand what mattered to us and how we wanted to make a difference. We raised significant sums for Breast Cancer Now for research and lobbied for change in education.

Patricia died in September 2023, but I am now continuing that work with Breast Cancer Now. I believe it will be the most consequential work of my life. It has been a delight to work with the passionate and capable team there. Their personal approach, combined with the charity’s incredible work, has made supporting them a genuinely positive and fulfilling experience."
