  • The Good Grief Trust

    The Good Grief Trust gives information and practical and emotional support for people experiencing grief, or if you need to support someone else experiencing grief and loss.

  • Cruse

    Cruse offer support through their website and national helpline. You can access support services online or in person, in groups or one-to-one. They have a specially trained dedicated team of 4000 bereavement volunteers.

Please let us know if you think your loved one might be on our database, so we can make sure we don't mail them in the future. You can let us know by calling us on 0333 20 70 300 or by emailing us with their details.

How to stop post from other organisations known to your loved one

It's best to make direct contact with them by post, email or phone. Include the person’s full name and postal address, let them know about the person's death, and ask them to remove them from mailing lists. 

How to stop charity mailings

The Fundraising Preference Service is a free service, run by the Fundraising Regulator. It can help you to end contact with charities you no longer want to hear from.

How to prevent mail from direct mailing lists

By registering with the Mailing Preference Service, the name of your loved one can be taken off direct mailing lists.

How to prevent advertising mail

By registering with the Bereavement Register, the names and addresses of your loved one are removed from mailing lists. Most advertising mail will stop within as little as 6 weeks.
