I had the privilege of meeting some of the scientists who work in the lab, all of whom shared the same goal: to find better treatments. Some of the same team treated my sister when she also got breast cancer. And lucky me – the trial proved so successful that they called time, so they could get the new treatment out to help people as soon as possible.
