Future Dreams have supported Breast Cancer Now for 10 years, join them in their celebration.
Future Dreams was set up by mother and daughter, Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie who were devastatingly both diagnosed with breast cancer at a similar time. It was their dream that no one should ever have to face breast cancer on their own so with the help of family and friends they started work to make this vision a reality by setting up Future Dreams in 2008 with £100.
The charity now works closely with Breast Cancer Now, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Haven to ensure that they are helping everyone whose lives are touched with this disease.
Sylvie and Danielle used their love of dance and theatre to hold their first variety show where they raised an incredible £300,000. 10 years on, Future Dreams is stronger than ever and the charity continues to fundraise in memory of Sylvie and Danielle and to raise vital funds for support, awareness and research focusing on secondary breast cancer.
The relationship between Breast Cancer Now and Future Dreams is one that we value highly. Their generous support and their shared goal that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live – and live well, means that we can fund vital, life-saving research that will benefit patients and families for generations to come. To date Future Dreams has raised over £4.5million and the charity has generously donated over £1million and counting to Breast Cancer Now!
To celebrate 10 fantastic years as a charity, Future Dreams are holding a unique and triumphant variety show on Sunday 30 September at the iconic London Palladium. Ten – A Decade Of Dreams promises to be a star studded extravaganza with acts from across the globe including super star singer Paloma Faith, Spice Girl Melanie C, Call the Midwife actress Helen George and West End star Bonnie Langford amongst others. The money raised on the night will go towards support, awareness and research for all those who have been touched by breast cancer.
