Join us at one of our 4 beautiful Pink Ribbon Walk locations across the UK and help us support our walkers as they fundraise for our life-saving research and life-changing support.
Our volunteer roles are open to everyone. You don’t need any experience, just a good team spirit and plenty of enthusiasm.

- Pink Ribbon Walk Scotland at Crieff Hydro - Saturday 31 May. (Places still available, register now)
- Chatsworth House and the Peak District - Saturday 21 June (Ask to join our waitlist)
I was teamed up with a great bunch of people, all with our various stories of how we’d been touched by cancer and how we’d come to volunteer... I had one of the most memorable days ever at a fabulous sunny Chatsworth, struggling to put up a gazebo, cutting up oranges, cheering walkers on at the finish line, and just having the best time, laughing our heads off all the way through. It was a such a rewarding experience.
Ways you can volunteer

Event village volunteer
Registering walkers, giving information, supervising the car park, cheering and giving out medals.
Route marshal volunteer
Marshalling, making sure walkers know the way, handing out snacks and water at rest stops.
Office volunteer
You'll be supporting the team with general office admin and assisting walkers over email and phone.

What will I be doing on the day as a volunteer?
There are two main volunteer roles at the Pink Ribbon Walks and you can read more about what these involve by clicking below:
• Event Village Volunteer
• Route Marshal Volunteer
If you have a preferred role, you can select this during registration and we will do our best to
assign you to this role. -
When will I receive all the information I need?
You will receive all the information you need 2 weeks before event day, but if you have any questions, please get in touch with us on 0370 145 0101 or email pinkribbonwalk@breastcancernow.org.

Can I be paired with another volunteer?
Please include your friend's name when you register and we'll do our best to allocate you a role together. If you’re not sure if you included their details, please get in touch on 0370 145 0101 or email pinkribbonwalk@breastcancernow.org.

Do you provide refreshments?
Depending on what time you're volunteering, we'll provide breakfast and/or an afternoon meal. Teas and coffees will also be available.

Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available for volunteers.

What happens if I can no longer attend?
We understand that things change and you may no longer be able to attend. If you can no longer join us, please let us know as soon as possible on 0370 145 0101 or email pinkribbonwalk@breastcancernow.org.

What happens next? How do I know when I have been registered?
Once you've completed the volunteer registration form, we'll send you a welcome email, and this will be confirmation that we’ve received your form and your registration is complete. We'll also send you emails in the build-up to the event day.
You can expect to hear from us once a month and then more frequently as the event date approaches.
