Facilitated by our clinical nurse specialists, our healthcare professional webinars are designed to support your practice and development.

Sessions are free to join and run for an hour. They include expert speakers covering a range of topics on breast cancer, treatments, side effect management and new developments.

Participation certificates for your NMC revalidation are available following each webinar.

Please note, our webinars are only open to healthcare professionals in UK practice. This is because the information we share, produce and collaborate on is all based on UK clinical practice and guidelines.

Tender conversations: the art of listening well

Kathryn Mannix, a Medical Writer and retired Palliative Care Doctor and CBT Therapist will explore how we can create a safe, supportive space for those tender conversations.

In our roles as supporters of people facing serious and unpredictable health challenges, we become focus on finding things to fix, offering advice, recommending helpful resources and working to reduce their distress. 

Yet distress is a part of the illness experience: sometimes, the best help we can offer is to enable people to explore their distress, feel those uncomfortable emotions, and find ways to live with their uncertainty.

UKONS Annual Conference
