Sex and intimacy with Dr Isabel White

Wednesday 25 March, 7pm to 8.15pm

What you can expect

During the session, Isabel will be talking about the effects of breast cancer on our sex lives. And how these may be relieved to allow more enjoyment of sex and intimacy again.

About Dr Isabel White

Isabel is a cancer nurse by professional background and a COSRT (College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists) senior accredited psychosexual therapist.

In 2010 she set up the first psychosexual therapy service at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, for people whose sexual lives and intimate relationships had been adversely affected by cancer and its treatment.

Isabel works with NHS, private, commercial and third sector colleagues and with national and international groups developing clinical guidelines, management pathways and interventions to support sexual adjustment and rehabilitation after cancer.

Isabel also works regularly with cancer charities on patient-centered events that focus on improving knowledge, boosting confidence, and breaking down barriers so more people will feel able to talk about and get support for sexual concerns and difficulties after cancer.
